Ansonica dell’Elba DOC

13,00
A particular wine, with a “Mediterranean” taste, archetype of viticulture in this area; It is a straw-colored, warm, full-bodied, soft wine, which fully expresses the sunny character of the places of origin. The vinification enhances the typicality of the taste and floral aromas, which recall the sunny fields smelling of blooms and hay, with a memory of dried fruit (especially almonds)

To be served in large glasses, around 12-14 degrees.

The production is about 13,000 bottles per year.

Historical Note: A traditional vine of the Island of Elba, Ansonica was once vinified in “palmenti”, crusher placed near the vineyards and consisting of one or more communicating tanks, often dug into the rock, more rarely built in stone masonry.
These artifacts are still visible in some locations on the islands of Giglio and Elba.
