Aleatico vineyards have a planting density that exceeds 5-500 vines per hectare and the production does not exceed one kilogram of grapes per vine.

The grapes are rigorously selected at harvest and checked daily during drying in the sun. Fermentation takes place in steel containers, stopping in the winter cold and often resuming with the warmth of the following spring.

Due to the large concentration of the must, due to the strong drying in the sun, the final yield of the grapes in wine does not exceed 25%.

The wine has a very intense ruby red color, with violet reflections. On the nose you can see great concentration and intensity of the aromas and a very broad aromatic profile, ranging from fruity (black cherry, morello cherry and prune, small red and black berries), to floral (violet, rose, peony and gentian) to spicy (clove, cinnamon and medicinal herbs), to mineral (ink, graphite) up to memory, in closing, chocolate and cocoa.

The entry on the palate is of great power and harmony, initially sweet and juicy, then full and velvety with sensations of red fruit, ripe cherry, morello cherry in alcohol, plum, blackberry and undergrowth of remarkable gustatory persistence, and with a very long final aromatic kaleidoscope in which notes of cinnamon, cocoa, coffee and sometimes hints of gentian or rhubarb emerge.

Perfect on its own, excellent combination with dry pastries and chocolate desserts.

The annual production, which rarely exceeds 15-20 hectoliters, is entirely packaged in 375 ml bottles.
